Сreators & Participants

  • Hasmik Chakhmakhchyan
    General Producer
Hasmik Chakhmakhchyan is a creative producer, director, and visual artist whose work centers on the creation of original interdisciplinary forms across music film, choreography, performance art, and contemporary opera. Her artistic practice is rooted in visual thinking and structural composition, where image, movement, and space are conceived as integral parts of the musical experience.

For many years, Chakhmakhchyan has worked in a sustained creative dialogue with composer Araksya Musheghyan. Together, they operate as a unified artistic duo, developing projects that emerge from a shared vision rather than conventional role distribution. Their collaboration has resulted in a body of work distinguished by its conceptual coherence, formal rigor, and refusal to follow existing formats. A defining example of this approach is the creation of the first Armenian crossover opera AMEN.

Chakhmakhchyan is the Chairman of the International Foundation for the Preservation and Development of Culture and Art Artis Futura. The foundation is dedicated to identifying and supporting young talents across all artistic disciplines, promoting and developing Armenian culture, creating unique projects for the preservation and transmission of Armenia’s historical and cultural heritage, and fostering international cooperation in the fields of culture and art.

Chakhmakhchyan’s role extends beyond traditional production. She functions as an author of form — shaping visual dramaturgy, spatial logic, and the overall artistic architecture of each project. Her work emphasizes restraint, precision, and inner tension, allowing space, silence, and physical presence to carry meaning.

Recent projects include choreographic films based on original musical compositions, performance art videos, and contemporary vocal works developed with rare and unconventional voices. Across all formats, Chakhmakhchyan maintains a consistent visual language defined by clarity, confidence, and a strong sense of direction.

Her practice positions production as an artistic act, enabling the creation of distinctive, uncompromising works that exist outside genre boundaries and conventional production models.

  • Araksya Musheghyan
    Musical Producer
Araksya Musheghyan is a distinguished Armenian composer, pianist, vocalist, and music producer whose artistic practice bridges large-scale musical forms and intimate, sound-focused works. She studied piano and composition at the Yerevan State Conservatory and completed postgraduate studies, developing a compositional language grounded in structural clarity, expressive depth, and a strong sense of form.

Over several decades, Musheghyan has built a diverse body of work that includes songs, instrumental pieces, chamber and symphonic music, film soundtracks, avant-garde compositions, and the first Armenian crossover opera, AMEN. Her music has been performed in Armenia and internationally, reflecting a sustained engagement with both classical traditions and contemporary artistic contexts.

A central aspect of her practice is a long-term creative collaboration with director and creative producer Hasmik Chakhmakhchyan. Working as an interdisciplinary artistic duo, they focus on the creation of new, original projects that emerge from a shared conceptual vision rather than conventional role distribution. Their collaborations span contemporary opera, choreographic films, performance art, and music-driven cinematic works, characterized by formal precision and conceptual coherence.

In addition to her compositional work, Musheghyan is deeply involved in cultural leadership and artistic development. In 2024, the Renaissance Foundation implemented the project Armenian Pop Music Anthology — the first music score library of contemporary Armenian songs — where Musheghyan serves as project manager.
She is also a board member of the Armenian Music Academy.

Musheghyan is the Chairman of the International Foundation for the Preservation and Development of Culture and Art Artis Futura. The foundation is dedicated to identifying and supporting young talents across all artistic disciplines, promoting and developing Armenian culture, creating unique projects for the preservation and transmission of Armenia’s historical and cultural heritage, and fostering international cooperation in the fields of culture and art.

Across all roles — composer, producer, and cultural leader — Araksya Musheghyan views music as a living, performative space, where sound, meaning, and artistic responsibility converge.
